Vintage 1976 Custom L-5 CES Electric Archtop Hollowbody Guitar with a Sun Burst Finish! One of Gibson's finest electric guitars. The L-5 CES (Cutaway Electric Spanish) was a company mainstay for many years and a particular favorite among many jazz and classic R&B players. This guitar still has the feel of a top quality instrument from a bygone era. The back is laminated maple, but the top is still carved spruce, while the neck is a 5-piece maple laminate with a pearl block inlaid ebony fingerboard. This is a truly amazing guitar to play and hear, with the warm, rich, yet lively sound that is characteristic of these full cut Gibson Electric Guitars! This guitar is in excellent shape for its age!
